Also really hoping you’ll continue with ER. in my top 10 if not top 5 shows of all time. It was huge in the 90s but not enough people remember it. Some of the later seasons loose a bit of steam, but it’s a fun ride until the end and the final season is a great victory lap.

Clooney’s Doug Ross can be compared very much to another Chicago based show you have reacted to: Severide from Chicago Fire. They are similar in a lot of ways and in the case of why things didn’t wok with him and Hathaway before the show started, he like Severide are starting out as ladies men/playboys who can’t settle down. There are other more blatant things that CF did to make Severide like Ross.
