I think you misunderstood a couple of things this episode which confused you. When Prue said to the guy 'she's possessed', I'm 100% sure she meant it in a joking way to him. Obviously she knew that was a reality, but even from his perspective Piper wasn't acting like herself so it's a normal thing people say when someone isn't acting normal, they don't mean actual posession. And Phoebes lie, she said she was in a library the very first time, so when Prue was driving in an emergency to help Piper she was on her way there. But Phoebe was never at the library, she was actually at a Historical Society for a 'project', so Prue had to turn around and get her from a different part of town. So there were 2 lies actually, or 3 if you count not telling Cole is alive.

God, imagine if someone said that to Derek on Grey's whenever he's making googly eyes at Meredith. I think Bailey would have the balls to pull that off lol. Yeah, this episode has some great points. I love that Leo was able to tell just from a kiss that Piper isn't herself. I didn't love the overacting. I also like that Phoebe is starting to feel guilt over her decision about Cole.
