I think I would have told Imogen in a different setting where we're not all stressed about our exams and I would tell her that I literally walked in on Ben assaulting someone and had to pull him off that person. I wouldn't reveal who it was so no outing of Ben and no revealing of Charlie's trauma. And if Imogen still won't believe me I'd tell her that if she ever needs anything I'm there, I'm still her friend. As for David, my main issue with Sarah scolding him is that she scolded him for all the wrong things. She told him not to swear and asked him why he went into Nick's room but she didn't tell him off for being a queerphobic POS??? Sarah, I get he's your kid (confused how he turned out the way he did when Nick is the sweetest puppy), but you gotta step up a little here. I love Sarah but I don't think she handled that well. It was a tough situation, though, so I'll have to let it go. None of the parents SUCK yet but Charlie's mum is a bit cold. What she said is fair but I think she's not really seeing the signs that Charlie isn't doing well not ONLY because of Nick. Clearly he's still struggling from the effects of the bullying and the assault he went through. She doesn't know much about it, though, so Nick becomes the default to blame.

2024-05-12 11:09:20 +0000 UTCThis was the first episode they mentioned Nick's brother I believe. Honestly I like all the parents except Charlie's mom, his dad is cool though. I just think Charlie's mom is a little too harsh, I feel like parents can be stern and still be loving and she's just not at least in my opinion. Nick's brother is so annoying. I'm sure that's the point to show how it is having homophobic siblings, my siblings were/are the same way so what he said to Nick about "just admit you're gay" and not wanting to believe Nick can be bi was very triggering to me. This season of Heartstopper is very fun, so I can't wait for you to watch more episodes and finish the show. Great reaction!!
