Elena's back and forth with Stefan gets annoying, but Stefan's is annoying from the beginning. He stalked her, forced his way into her life, and lied to her to manipulate her feelings while she was in a fragile emothional state after loosing both her parents, causing an unhealthy bond to him like a sevurity blanket. Then when she learns about what he is he continues to lie to her about so many things, and occasionally tries to pull away as if he just realised that his undead life puts her human life in constant danger. Damon may behave like a true vampire, a creature that preys on humans, but he doesnt pretend to be pure and innocent like Stefan and so far he seems to keep his word better than every other character in this series, yet everyone else lies to him, uses him and breaks their end of a deal with him and still treat him like the one who is not trust worthy! This is the main reason why Damon always has been and always will be my favorite! I get Lexi was Stefan's best friend but it is hella hypocritical of him to get upset about the Lexi's death (a single vampire) yet could care less about the deaths of 26 vampires, implying that the life of a vampire is meaningless. He really needs to make up his mind.

Jenna doesn't know anything, she looked like that because she thought he left town. She said last episode that she got an email from Logan saying "I'm leaving town, see ya".

2024-05-13 02:38:12 +0000 UTCWhen Matt said "It's just me, so I know..." to Caroline, in my opinion he meant the loneliness that Caroline felt. If you remember last episode, when she was drunk and Matt took her home she asked him "do you ever feel like there's not one single person in the world that loves you?" and he kind of didn't really give her an answer. So I guess him saying "It's just me so I know" was basically him telling her he's been lonely too because Vicki is dead (which he doesn't know anymore because of being compelled) and thinks she's just gone somewhere and his mom gone all the time. Caroline's dad isn't in the picture because he lives somewhere else, and her mom is never really home because she's always working and they don't have the best relationship. Matt just wants company and to have someone, just like Caroline. The ending when she comes in with all those snacks and drinks is just about her and Matt having someone to be there with because they're both lonely.
