The guy who plays Roger is Marques Houston an r&b singer. While he went solo later, as a kid he was part of the group Immature/IMX. Sister Sister came out around the time of their second album, so he was starting to get popular. It also coincided with House Party 2 or 3. That’s what those screams were about. He was becoming a baby heart throb.
