Nobody knowing how to react to Bash made me laugh too. I love that you turned your mom onto this show. I recommend the books too. Matthew being in the play was so wholesome. Truly one of the sweetest characters I can think of. The way he always chooses and loves and lifts up Anne is adorable. He wants her to have everything she wants. He doesn't need her to be anything but her. I don't think Anne would have stayed with them if Matthew hadn't fought for it. He knew she was meant to be his in the purest sense.
