31 Days of Samhain 🎃🌙🔮 / / A Petition to My Ancestors - Day 29

Good morning moon babes! This is a time for your ancestors and honoring them (if you do so) and I have been working on new prayers for them/ with a new petitions. This is one I created and thought might be useful for everyone here!n This is going to be a petition with a candle.

I like to prepare petition paper, I will put perfume, oils, herbs, candle wax, paint, stickers, flowers etc on this paper. I like making my petitions like little bullet journal entries - prepare your ancestors an offering and burn a white or purple candle while you are writing your prayer. Once finished gold the paper towards you and place it under your ancestor candle.

Prayer I write on the prepped paper.

- Ancestors both known and unknown of my highest good, of similar moral standing please hear my prayers.

- I pray that my energy is divinely protected.

- I pray that all negative energy, entities, spirits, I’ll intent, and curses sent my way be transmuted into loving energy that pushes me further through my goals.

- I pray that my doorways, opportunities, and roads stay clear and free for me to explore freely.

- I pray that every day I am moving forward towards my highest good and honoring myself in the process.

- I thank my ancestors for providing me with the strength, wisdom, and perseverance to continue on the journey of my highest good.

Push all of your energy into the petition paper fold the paper towards yourself and place it under your ancestors candle for a week. Once the week is up remove the paper and burn the petition.

Blessed be, Anastasia 🤍🔮🌙

I like using plain white candles or purple candles for my ancestors if I don't have one prepped for them!

what if I don't have an ancestor candle? is there another candle I can use?

Hello! I’m a little confused about working with ancestors. I see how you do, because your practice is steeped in it. I’m confused about how someone who is from boring basic Caucasian pilgrim ancestry can do it. They were mostly typical Christian ancestors, so how do I incorporate that type of peoples in a practice like this? 🙃
