Small Magical Things To Do When You Are Feeling Down

Good morning moon babes, man have I been going THROUGH it recently. Mainly legal crap with my shady shadyyyy landlord, it's getting daunting the new ways this man actively tries taking advantage of me and my small business. BUT We shall prevail, in the meantime I wanted to share a small list of things I like to do when I am feeling down, low spoon, and upset. These things can be big, small or anything in between anything that raises your energy even for a little bit is what we are aiming to do.

-Dress a blue or pink candle with roses and orange peel and burn it next to you in the room you're hanging out in. This is for your self healing and insight, may the flames bring you energy and guide you out of this funk.

-Make peppermint tea with honey, or chamomile tea with honey - or any sweetening agent you like. The purpose of doing this is that both chamomile and peppermint are amazing for protection, wealth, luck, and prosperity. The honey will sweeten you and your drink, allowing sweeter energy to flow your way. While you drink the tea, be mindful and present in the moment with the spirit of your tea. If you are home or in a space you can share some tea with your ancestors or spirits of your highest good do this. I always feel better.

-Cleanse your space with hyssop, lavender, camphor, white roses, myrrh, ginger, lemongrass, or a combination of the above. I love these herbs for truly clearing my space of mucky energy. All of these herbs are super uplifting energetically and even if I am feeling low, they work overtime to bring the energy around me up to slowly have me changing my energy around.

-Do a small tarot or oracle pull for yourself. The key here for me is to ask the tarot deck to describe a time you were SUPER happy. Ask the deck to explain a moment you were the happiest and how your energy was during that time. Reflect on those happy moments with your spirits and divination tools, allowing your energy to rise or stay where it feels comfortable.

-Leave your spirits an offering, can be a super simple water or coffee offering. I always find that this action alone centers and grounds me immensely. Going through the motions of making something for my ancestors normally pulls me out of whatever mentally is going on, they will be present with you while you do this, offer you guidance while you navigate whatever situation you are in. You do not need to sit with them for this offering, wherever your energy allows truly is fine.

-Ground yourself for a few minutes, focusing on your breath and being present in feeling whatever emotions you are currently feeling. Take a moment to validate why you are feeling that way and what leads to that.

-Splash water onto your face/ hands/ or feet. Water always makes me feel better, without having to do too much or expend much energy. Water can cleanse and clear your hands / face / feet / or anything easily washed within a few seconds, pray with the water that your mood and day turns around, that the water you are washing with or allowing to flow over you washes all of your worries away and carries it far from your home.

-Eat a sprig of ginger, this herb is a powerhouse and not only for your mood but magically will give your spirit a boost to move on with this stagnant or moody energy. This is also very healthy for you, ( you can make ginger tea if you would like.) It will make your stomach and body warm while feeling supported and slightly energized.

-Burn a red candle with your name on it for personal power. Just like the blue or white candle, leave this candle to burn in whatever room you spend the most of your time in.

-Splash some Florida Water onto the bottom of your feet, your third eye, and your crown. This is the top of your head.

-Veiling, when my day is an odd veil, when my energy is off veil, when I feel lightheaded and it is not a health issue I veil. This is important to keep your energy sacred and secure. When we are feeling down/angry/annoyed this energy can attract lower level spirits. And yes while we all have protections up we don't need things tapping at your wards, or your energy being able to be attacked further when you are already feeling low.

I hope this small list of things I like to do to bring my personal energy up when feeling down helps some of you guys! I truly hope this week is a bomb ass week and some justice is served. Because here’s the thing, good always outweighs evil. This isn't to say that evil doesn't win sometimes, but the war…. Baby good wins the war.
