Thank you so much for reacting to the series... I used to love it as a kid... I have requested the next few eps as well. As mentioned, yes she is human, but very well trained and an exceptional, experienced fighter

And Xena started out in another show like this that came out a year or two earlier from when Xena premiered. It was Hercules. Him you’ve heard of I’m sure. She started on there as a bad warlord just like the guy she fought here. She raided/burned villages and killed men. In Hercules, it was a 3 episode arc and she turned back to being good, and in Xena, she’s on a quest to redeem all the bad she’s done in the past.
