Idk why, but evertime I look at this, I imagine Qui-Gon is doing this as a rivalry to Anakin, like a 'I can do this better than you' kinda thing but Obi-Wan doesn't notice. So Obi-Wan going to Qui-Gon's quarters still thinking about the reports and is like 'Yeah so I the mission went well and- Where did your clothes go?'
