The April That Was(n't): Patreon Update

Hey guys, gals, thems and nots, I am here with an end of the month/start of the month update.

Okay so, for April I'm not charging. I figure that's enough time to get peeps to change their tiers or cancel altogether if they'd like before I do the changes and such

Changes? Why?

Okay so for a while I've been way too hesistent to use Patreon and in return its kind of just been a background thing. A very very helpful background thing, but nonetheless I'm not making the most of it or incentivizing anyone to join or use the platform. Part of that is fear that Patreon will do yet another thing that causes strife and discord amongst the art community (which is like once a month) and I'd hate to finally get my ducks in a row when the chef decides its time for a roast

But I think another thing is that I feel like I'd let you guys down a lot more often than not. That fear is nestled deep in that endless backlog of mine that I'm always struggling to finish and get through. I seem to take on so many things and the thought of having even more people waiting with different tiers for things gives me the willies.

I think I need the structure though. I think I need something to keep consistent and focused on. Rather than just think I can't do it, and sit crushed under the weight of the perception, maybe we can give it a try?

What are the changes?

Patreon Exclusive Content: this is content I want to make available on social media and whatnot after a week, but show patrons first. This could also give patrons some input in before posting (i.e. make her tits bigger, give that dick a better vein, etc)

Sketch Dumping: I sketch a lot but I usually don't post a lot of it and it ends up as scraps. I can make it a weekly thing where I collect the scraps I'd otherwise not post. Again, patrons can talk to me in comments and let me know if something catches their eye and we can make an actual picture with the concepts

Weekly Updates: Lot of things go on in one week, and I sure don't keep you guys in the loop. I can afford to take some time every saturday or sunday to just say what the plan is going forward

Patron Tier Commission: this one I'm not too sure on just yet, and is probably going to be limited to a monthly sketch commission just to keep things reasonable per month

So when will this start?

April 1st! Its why I'm not charging this month. It takes 21 days to build a habit, and I want to build that habit up in this test drive to make sure I can actual deliver before taking your money.
