And at this point I’ve been soooo good about not having sweets to combat the pain of this damn tooth, but when I got home from work, curled up under a blanket in my recliner with my kitty on one side and dog on the other and hit play, I couldn’t help but indulge! 🫣😂 so far so good, but I’m also like double brushing and salt water rinsing. 😅 THEN, you mention Scrooge and it being the listener’s family tradition. I swear it’s like you’re telepathically connected to some of us here! Because we’ve had the same tradition since I was little and I have carried that tradition through to my daughter and have never missed it in the last 33-34 years (probably longer but the first year I can remember doing it was when I was about to turn 4 years old exactly a month after Christmas) and we always watched Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Carol (originally it was the Seymour Hicks version, then we added the George C. Scott version and now that we have carried it on with my daughter her favorite version is with Patrick Stewart… so needless to say, we’ve been starting on the 23rd and watching all of them as to not miss any of the tradition 🥰) Anyway, loooooooong winded reply… this was so heart warming and fun!
