2022-10-03 01:05:35 +0000 UTCthis is so sweet 🥺 it’s really refreshing to hear this dynamic explored in a platonic way. i feel like as a society we undervalue platonic relationships, but close platonic friendships where you can be affectionate and vulnerable with each other are so special to me. the part about feeling lonely and having trouble connecting with friends cause everyone’s busy with their own lives resonates and is something i think a lot of people struggle with - making friends as an adult is hard and i think it’s partly because society tells us we need to prioritize romantic relationships by a certain age and/or your friends start getting in relationships and don’t have as much time to spend with friends… anyway i could ramble about the importance of platonic relationships for several paragraphs but i’ll stop there and say that i really enjoyed this, thank you 🤍✨ i hope to have friendships like this someday ☺️
