Added 2023-01-26 07:44:24 +0000 UTCHey everyone! With the file size now over 5 GB, I am looking at crunching it down some to make it less annoying to download and have on you hard drive. Introducing From the Eclipse - Maya Edition! A few things about this version of the game.
1) It is not guaranteed to work all the way through, though I hope that it is. I have not had the time to test it yet.
2) I am considering making this the default version of the game going forward due to the size. However I have had to lower the quality of the images a bit. I want YOUR opinion on if the game still looks good, and if I should go forward with this version, or if I should do the full version still at now over 6 GB.
3) Currently this is PC only. My Mac audience is very tiny. If I use this version going forward then I will make a Mac version as well. NOTE: I currently do not plan on making an official Android port of this game. It is hard enough for me to keep up on bugs and issues on the normal version.

Isn't it just taking the "old" images from prior versions out of the new version, zipping it up and naming it "v3.xx Patch"? What could go wrong, aside from the wrong number of pictures? Though again, I am just running my mouth here, without prior expirience I might add.

I would rather have people download the entire thing each time and it work as intended than run into issues with the patch version. There are too many variables that can go wrong when doing a patch that I do not have the time to address. If I went this route and something did pop up it would take time away from me building the story and world while I try to figure out what is going on.

2023-01-27 08:47:33 +0000 UTCUmm, how about you make a "Patch" version aside from the Full Game? So that we only need to download the new images aside from all the renpy files. Though I don't know how labour intensive that would be for you.
