Today is a syncing day!
Added 2023-10-23 14:00:09 +0000 UTCThese kind of days are not as bad as it sounds. It is a day where I organise the rushes, audio, assets and many other things ready for editing. In the industry, you'd have a junior editor get everything like this ready for the main editor but as I'm part of a small team, I'm doing the lot! What I like about this is it's basically a warm up for me so when I've finished this part. I land with the wheels already spinning.
Interesting facts:
> This aspect ratio is 4096 x 1716 and it's like this due to being filmed with Anamorphic lenses. It's filmed and recorded in an oval shape ( ) and then de-squeezed in the edit [ ].
> This is a clapperboard and on set we say slate it which mean exactly this in the image. If the hand was in between the arm and board that would mean there is no audio being recorded for an editor to sync.
I have to black out certain information as this is an actual project I'm working on. A TV ad for West Africa.
