This for me was a step up from the previous 3 we've covered on the channel. This is the Star Wars I want, this tone, this storytelling and this cinematography. Oh Boy...

2024-06-12 23:03:49 +0000 UTCParamount will have contrast and give you the (I think it's called the butterfly lighting) and being that it's harsher with the shadows edges. more old movie like. If you want more of a cleaner beauty light, diffuse the light more basically. Interrogation look should we call it for ease, directly above the subject and harsher (no diffuser) will make it look more sinister plus stylised.

2024-06-11 21:23:02 +0000 UTCGreat question but the light isn't directly above them like this lighting. Paramount lighting is above but 45 degrees down from the top angled towards the forehead. This is how we create beauty lighting and the reason being is it removes all the dark bags and brings out the cheekbones. Paramount lighting is actually a hard light or between super soft (Lightbox) and hard. It still gives you that contrast on the shadows so under the nose and edge of the cheeks making it look old school hollywood cinematic. Replace that hard light with a massive softbox and you get beauty products commercial lighting. Two very different styles yet the light source is in the same place. This cinematic had soft lighting (sometimes hard) but directly above them casting shadow over the eyes from their brows. Hopefully this makes sense, if not, ask away. I'll help your grades!

But here we have the 'good' guy in white be more of a dark, impulsive, aggressive guy while the 'bad' guy is more composed and more of a 'good guy'. As far as they can even be put into a good/bad category.

They are far superior technological, and that is why we see the twins wreck both sides so easily. Basically this empire, the eternal empire, completely takes over both the Republic and the sith empire Game wise this was a big expansion that started the new story after the original main story was finished.
