2025-02-04 10:50:05 +0000 UTCI recommended MGS, but you’re right, I hadn’t considered how much of the story is conveyed via codec calls. I still think it would be amazing to see Kai go through the cutscenes at some point. I mean, MGS is the grand daddy of cinematic gaming right?

2025-02-03 21:36:22 +0000 UTCI dont know if you have seen previously the uncharted series, but I think it would be nice to start from the first game instead of launching into the last part. Also because I think its the longest one, and starting with something more "light" at the start and then going up with the next games would get you more naturally invested into the story and gameplay. Just my opinion if you do a next poll and consider the saga

2025-02-03 19:23:20 +0000 UTCSurprised no one is throwing out Final Fantasy 14... I kid, it's not remotely top cinematography, AND I think they are up to 150 hours just main storyline quest... BUT, it IS really great writing and a lot of "holy shit, WHAT?!" moments. However, Square Enix has always nailed the opening cinematics IMO. RDR2 will be epic.

2025-02-03 17:24:46 +0000 UTCMetal Gear Solid is a tough ask, because if you watch only what is classified as cutscenes then you miss out on some great voice performances in the codec calls and the story will suddenly jump around. That being said, I can't ask you to sit through hours of still images with voice over attached to them. I guess cutscenes only will have to do.
