Progress Report & Switch to Charge Upfront next Month

Hey guys, there are still two more updates I will put out this month: the side missionary for the TOBF Dog and the new SF3 ChunLi update.

This is a patron commission. I will develop her alongside Es, so Brian will probably be pushed back a bit more

I can't say anything about this yet except it's  kind of TOBF related and should be a vast improvement to it, but super early stages right now.

Charge upfront

I will do one last "update bundle" near the end of this month. instead of charging for the update like I have  normally I'll switch to charge up front instead. This won't affect current patrons much, and the process will likely look the same, the only difference is the charge will now always take place at 1st of the month instead of whenever I post the update, but new patrons will be charged as soon as they pledge.

Why? TL;DR version 

Charge Up Front Pros: 

• Steady content release throughout month instead of at the very end of it

• Faster tallying of votes = less wait between developing new characters

•Simplified Early Release system; just maintain Early Release folder and link directly to it instead of going through every patron and messaging individually, possibly missing people

Charge Up Front Cons:

• I can't charge per update (Doesn't matter because I've never done more than 1 update per month in the year this page has been up)

•Can't "sample" content by pledging to see patron-only posts then unpledging

Why? Long Version

If you noticed this month I've just been releasing things as they are completed as I think this is a better procedure than hoarding everything til near the end of the month and releasing then trying to fix everything that breaks all at once. 

This isn't the best way to go about it with per month because it can be gamed but with Charge Up Front that won't be an issue, and I'll be able to tally votes faster since I know everyone who has access to the polls isn't doing anything suspect since trying to jump tiers would cause an immediate charge. The final reason is it wil lbe easier to get everyone the content since I have to message everyone individually with the way I had been doing things.

 New Patrons: New Patrons will be charged on the day they become your patron, giving them access to all content shared with their reward tier. On the 1st of the following month, they will simply return to being charged monthly at the beginning of the month. Example: A patron joins  February 25th for $10 per month. They will be charged $10 on the day they join, February 25th, for February patronage. On March 1st, the Patron will be charged $10 for March patronage.

Existing Patrons: Existing patrons will be charged on the 1st of the month like usual. However, if they increase or decrease their pledge the month you switch to charge up front, they will be billed immediately in full. 

Example: A patron joins  January 5th for $10 per month. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. The patron will be charged $10 on March 1st for March patronage. If this patron increased their pledge on February 26th to $20, they would be billed $20 on the 26th for February.  

On the 1st of the month (and every 1st of the month thereafter) they will be charged the full amount of their pledge until they cancel or edit their pledge.

After first month of charging patrons up front, when a patron increases their membership, they'll immediately be charged the difference between their recent payment and new membership value. 

Example: A patron signs up on January 5th for $10/month. On January 25th, payment type is changed so that patrons are charged up front. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 26th, the patron increases their pledge to $15. The patron will be charged $5 on February 26th. Then the patron will be charged $15 on March 1st for March patronage and they will continue to be charged $15 every 1st of the month thereafter until they cancel or edit their pledge.
