The end of 2051, and that is the most excellent of typos.

Yes, that movie credits image is made by me. Did it yesterday for a friend, because we both find the ridiculous sense of humor in LiarTownUSA to be utterly hilarious, and this is inspired by that. I hope you like it too! XD

ANYWAY, that's not the point of this post.

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! Hopefully 2016 will be better than 2015, and worse than 2017 for everyone!

Secondly - and this is the point - how do you feel about this Patreon of a tchai? Was there anything you particularly liked? Was there anything that could be improved? I need to know what I'm doing right, and what I'm doing wrong.

I mean, If you're throwing your money at me, I want to make sure you're getting what it's worth! ^.^

And of course - once more - thank you so much for doing the aforementioned action! It's making life a significantly less harrowing experience for exactly four people here. ;v;

THANK YOU TIMES FOUR

I'm very glad you're feeling good here. ^.^ For the second paragraph of your comment, I'll just direct you to my reply to Magotter, below. As for the third, you got it! Using p3d.in is a bit problematic, but rendering out those simpe turntables is barely any trouble at all! You can expect things like occasional WIP character progress turntables, or their test poses. Maybe even actually rendered turntables as well! Depends on the render speed.

I think you know where my head is at with your artwork. I love your art and everything you make. I've enjoyed quite a bit more of your stuff here on Patreon because of the amazing definition you upload in. I like zooming in super close to your models to see all the details you give. I never wanted to get a Patreon (due to all the unnecessary popularity had) but seeing that you made one I had to follow and support. I'm grateful you listen to your audience and show everyone what they like. And my favorite part about being a patron of yours is to support your success. I don't personally know your challenges, or the struggles you took to get to your knowledge now, but I'm just glad to be a supporter helping out when times get tough. I very much liked your compilation piece where we were aboard of an airline brainstorming thingy. I'll be happy to take part in that again. I agree with Magotter's point about the $10 partition. Just $5's more and you get just about everything anyone ever wanted from Tchai. The advertising for the $10 tier seems to be blown away because of that last part about the NSFW material in the following tier. Lots of pervs on the internet I suppose. I don't know what to suggest to try to get more support for a $10 patron. I just think its funny to see support in all of the tiers except $10. Also I believe you should be more cautious of stolen artwork as well like what Magotter points out in the second comment. I've never heard of this place. But you should understand that Patreon has a think called as "pledge bailing" where a number of people will subscribe to a Patreon and then take all the high tier artwork and then quit being a patron shortly after they're done. Stealing is the best word to describe it. If there is a way to only give out artwork for a set time that would be the best option in my opinion. Or doing what Magotter says and using password protected locations. You may be more informed of this issue than I am. Maybe you've already come up with a devious plan to fix their issues. With that thought pointed out there is one thing that I would like to see more of in the WIPS folder is turntables of more things. I like seeing a full around shot of your objects and characters from p3d.in. Sometimes that isn't always applicable and a video is. But I'd really like to see your older characters and some of your newer ones when they are released. They're so very pretty in every direction and I'd be very happy to see them in whatever three dimensional pose you chose to upload them in.

Addendum: I'm not certain if you are aware of http://yiff.party but your Patreon is listed up there. About once every month or two, the site rips all the stuff uploaded to various Patreon accounts, meaning that your private art is actually being given away. I am uncertain how much this is affecting you, given I've never seen anything of yours re-uploaded to any of the type of furry sites where such things go (like 8chan, lulz, u-18chan, etc). Because of this, you may want to consider alternately starting to upload everything to a google drive (or similar) and putting a password lock on it, then simply changing the password monthly and giving only that to patrons each month. Again, I am uncertain if this will help, as it may not necessarily gain you new patrons from those people who can no longer get it from yiff.party, and might frustrate current patrons (and make it harder to comment on indiviual things). I mention it just so you can be aware it is occuring.

Of all the Patreons I, uhh, patron... I definitely feel yours is the most 'worth it' in terms of the money I spend; no less that it is the one I spend the most on. Like Graye, it is why I signed up for Patreon in the first place. I feel that the amount I give is worth the quantity and quality of art I receive, especially across November and December. As for price point, I do have three notes I would like to address. First, the $10 tier feels kinda wasted. Since you republish so much of your art on your DeviantArt and Anza tumblr, there's little reason to select it over, say, the $15 tier. Granted, this makes you more money and is good for supplimenting income and buying new equipment, but it does make the $10 feel like a waste. Secondly, I would love to see more high-quality versions of your older artworks. I've saved nearly everything off your DA page, but if thy exist I'd like to see some of those older pics at higher resolutions. Patreon and your WIP/Teasers folder would be a great place to put those, since Google Drive lacks a size limit on uploads. Thirdly, I'm aware of a few deleted/archived pictures from your DA that I'd love to see. I know one of them involves red and white leg paint, but I can't find a more high-quality version of it beyond a thumbnail. Seeing these pictures, plus all your older, earlier art (especially stuff you've never shown off at all) would be a great reason to stay at the $15 tier. If you want to encourage people to remain at that tier, you could upload it a bit at a time, yanno? To end again on a positive note, I am super satisfied with what I've gotten. Even moreso I enjoyed the public brainstorm project. I think it is a good use of your patreon, since it is open to all, and lets us influence you, while still allowing you creative control and not having to have you resort to, say, raffles or contests in order for your viewers to have influence on your work. Oh, and the preggo pics were just the utter best, and I definitely want to see more "non-canon" versions of your characters.

Nobody else seems to have voiced their opinion here. I can only hope this means they agree with what you said. XD Also, I'm planning a "making of" for a thing I'm working on now. It's pretty simple, but that only means the post will be a bit shorter and less boring. XD And thank you! ;A;

I am pretty happy with the results so far. To be honest, you were the reason I made an account on Patreon to begin with. What matters most to me is seeing your work in high resolution and getting to see all of it. I still hope to see some tutorials or a "making of" sort of thing. I know you think that may be boring for some, but I am really interested to see the process.
