Yes. Yes, this again.

So Patreon is trying to push that #ThankYouPatrons thing as an annual event, and frankly, they're right. Without patrons, creators would have to focus on survival instead of creating truly inspired works of art. Not much passion, not that great outcome. Artists aren't meant to be machines, nor can a machine be passionate or inspiring.

But c'mon, Patreon, you're kinda forcing it just a little bit. Gratitude comes naturally, not from plastering a "SEND YOUR THANKS" on a calendar.

Anyway, you're probably aware that I'm a no bullshit kind of person. Not one to join unnecessary bandwagons, always looking for my own way to do things. So I'm not going to use the headers they suggested, not going to take one of the suggested actions either. Imma make this my own thing.

At one point, I made a "public brainstorm" activity for my patrons. That was a long time ago, and the only reason I haven't done it again is that, while it was a pretty big success, and many people were happy, it was also overwhelmingly stressful for me. So now I'll do it again, but in a slightly different, hopefully less hectic formula.

How dis go:

• It starts with a poll (below) that has all my available characters in it.
• The characters not on the list are either commissioned, or in dire need of an upgrade. My apologies to any Hjalta/Fjóla fans (they're next in my upgrade queue).
• Please pick no more than three options.
• The poll ends in a week.
• The three highest voted characters get to the next round.

Then:

Once the characters are picked and the poll is closed, I will make another post, where you step in to collectively build a picture idea with each of the winning characters. I'll explain the rules then.

That's basically it.
