Three new themes have been added!
Added 2024-04-02 15:50:40 +0000 UTCOur theme developers have been hard at work, and three new high-quality themes have just been published.
The first one is Retro Mega (Revisited) by ant, which is a port of the Retro Mega theme for the Pegasus frontend, originally created by djfumberger.
The second theme is Slick (Remixed) by Weestuarty which is another Pegasus port, of the Slick theme by buzz.
The third theme is an original design by Weestuarty named ES-Boy, which is inspired by the Fallout Pip-Boy.
All these themes can be downloaded from the built-in theme downloader and you can also find them on the web version of the themes list:

They all support various theme options like variants, font sizes etc.

2024-04-03 20:14:40 +0000 UTCES-DE doesn't handle media in this way, it's always stored in ES-DE/downloaded_media and it's the same on the Linux, macOS and Windows releases. Although you can relocate your scraped media to the SD card also on Android this is generally a bad idea. Due to various design decisions made by Google disk I/O performance is very poor on Android and you really want fast storage for your scraped media or ES-DE will not run well. So it's always recommended to place the ES-DE directory on internal storage. The ROMs directory is not as critical though so that can for sure be placed on the SD card.

This is a kind of "standard" on chinese portable consoles that uses linux based ES variants. So users could just copy their ROMS folders already scrraped or even use the same SD card.
