Artwork Preview - Generic Actions

Greetings everyone!

So, in The Company I use a variety of generic action images to represent various actions that could be occurring between any combination of characters. The primary reason for this is that, when using live action images, you won't always find the types of interactions with a particular person you're looking for.

Rather than allowing that limitation to stifle creativity and limit the kinds of scenarios I can write, I opted to use these generic images. The trade-off, of course, is a hit to immersion as it can pretty obvious that the person you're interacting with is not the person in the photo. As it is, that's a compromise I've chosen to accept.

As we make the gradual transition to commissioned 2D artwork this becomes much less of a restriction, however, a different issue arises. While it's true that I can commission any action between any characters I want, time becomes the new limiting factor. 

Initially, the plan was to build out a modular parts system for every character, essentially working like the paper doll and dialogue systems. In theory this would have allowed us to dynamically create an artistic representation of any scenario between any characters we wanted at any time. In practice, however, it turned into something much more complex than we were prepared to reasonably handle.

Ultimately, the decision was made to duplicate the existing image structure 1:1. This gives us a clear outline of how to move forward, as well as making it easier to swap out the existing image set with the artwork set should the player choose to do so. 

With that, we decided to start with the generic images involving transsexual characters. The following previews all involve a generic character who is (or could be) a trans character. Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. Bring on the smut!
