Announcement - Patreon Release Window and Upcoming Polls

Greetings everyone!

I'm posting an early weekly update as there won't be a traditional development blog for the next couple weeks, barring anything particularly post-worthy. However, that doesn't mean I won't be posting. In fact, we're making the month of December interactive!

Patreon Release Alpha 5.5.0

I'm winding down development of the upcoming patron incremental release, bringing all together in a neat package before racing towards the final 6.0 Chapter 3 update. You can expect to see it posted around this time next week!

Content Polls

Tomorrow, I'll be posting polls to all patron pledge tiers as well as a public poll. You'll be able to vote in all polls visible to you, however each vote will be weighed based on the poll it was cast in. That is, a Lab Technician ($20 Tier) who votes in both their level poll as well as the public poll will have their vote counted as 16 votes (15 for the tier, 1 for public)

So what's being voted on?

This time it's something a little different, and I think it's gonna be fun! Chapter 3 will be featuring an in-game Halloween event, yet to be released, and likewise Chapter 4 will feature a Thanksgiving event. I thought it would be cool to allow the community to design a character for that event! Here're the details:

• This character will be for a one-off event, not tied into the entirety of the game
• Polls will be posted on Wednesday, closed on the following Monday, and tallied on that Tuesday

Poll Schedule

• 12/5 - Gender, Age, Ethnicity
• 12/12 - Hair Color, Body Type
• 12/19 - Relationship to Player*, Actor/Actress to Represent Character
• 12/26 - Sexuality, Personality, Name

* Relationship will include familial, professional, and platonic options.
