Hey all, I get a lot of questions about what I'm working on. I'm not the best at communicating all projects, and what is my main focus at the time.

Truth is, and I think this is true for a lot of people, my interests change all the time. One day I'll be super into one project and teh very next day I go back to an older one.

I currently have 4 projects I'm working on. Hinomori Nights, Boldy Go, Bar Tapper and The Midnight Channel. I have changed the banner due to some patrons telling me they have left thinking I'm not working on Hinomori Nights anymore.

I am trying to communicate as best I can that I am working on it still, as well as the other games listed. My work flow changes day by day, with some days going hard on a single project, or other days like today where all 4 projects got chipped away at slightly.

You may wonder why so many projects, and this is for many reasons. As I mentioned before, my interests change daily and by having multiple genre's / games to work on I can keep my interests always going. It's better to work on your project in the time when your "Jazzed" on working on it. With my new way of working, I am getting work done on all 4 whenever it calls for it. It has made my development time a lot more fun, and I think that makes it more productive as well.

Another reason is because of the different goals/outcomes from these projects. With Midnight Channel, I'm focusing on just seeing fun/sexy scenes with characters I like from my favorite series. With Bar Tapper, I'm curious about how I can make an interative game update with more interesting features. With BoldyGo I'm focusuing  heavily on storyline and less on player agency, and finally with HInomori Nights I'm focusing on a mix of all of those last points.

A side, side reason why there are multiple is because, as you know from the past, I may not have full control over Midnight Channel forever. If that day comes, I don't want to have nothing left. So I'm hedging my development time with other projects.

If you are wondering if there are more projects than these four, of course ther are. They are just not for you (Yet)

Lastly, I have built a small network of friends that are developers and they all help out in small ways for each project. These games all have different people helping me out, and I"m happy to work alongside them to bring the projects to life.

Anyway, That's my explanation. Hope that makes sense! You will be seeing more from Hinomori Nights and Boldy Go soon as I want to get more visuals for them on here!

Working on more than one project is great to avoid burnout and even more so considering that Midnight Channel isn't completely risk free in the sense of control over it as you mentioned. Although I wonder, isn't 4 projects at the same time too much, especially for having somewhat regular releases? That said, whatever works for you specifically is the way to go as your motivation and mental health are fundamental for these projects and, most importantly, yourself as a person!
