Author's note:

This chapter is special as I've been able to do some experiments with the map. For the first time, I was able to feature some scenes of city destruction with more detail and effect,s like you'll see near the end of the comic. It also came with some challenges as the models are quite BIG, requiring a lot of post-processing to fix minor issues caused by the program. But other than that, I'm very happy with the results.

While this chapter was a bit smaller, it's also more "intense" in compensation. We're already entering the final act of this series, near what we usually call "size: yes", and depending on how things go, the next chapter might be the last one (Chapter 9), or if it triggers enough my OCD, I'll wrap up the series on Chapter 10 just because it sounds better.

In any case, thank you all for supporting this series! It wouldn't have these many episodes if it weren't for the reception and your amazing support, so I'll make sure to give a satisfying conclusion.
