2023-09-03 13:58:49 +0000 UTCThe director of this movie was only 31 when he made this, which is insane to me. It's really such a well cast and fun movie with some beautiful iconic shots. You can NEVER go wrong with Sam Jackson, but John C. Reilly really stole the show for me. I think most people will agree with you that every movie in the Monsterverse gets better than the last so don't worry about that haha. But my personal favorite is the next one (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) because it just feels like a true old school Godzilla movie with how wild it gets! Super excited for the next one! Love you two, thank you for all the fantastic reactions!!!

2023-09-02 16:07:23 +0000 UTCThis is a decent movie but I definitely think you should watch the original. King Kong (2005). It doesnโt tie into any of the monster verse but I like in that one how heโs more of a traditional gorilla. Thatโs what they showed in ready player one.
