If you want the complete, full experience that will make you enjoy the Mandalorian even more I suggest watching The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series first. There's a lot of episodes but they are short episodes each(like 20-30 mins tops on most.) If you watch Mandalorian without seeing Clone Wars and Rebels you'll still enjoy it but there will be major parts of it that you don't get the same feeling(or you'll be lost at certain episodes with material that pops up with characters etc.) Plus, you'll see some good r2d2 stuff in Clone Wars not to mention one of the fandom's favorite characters in the entire franchise. I really hope you react to Clone Wars and Rebels cause it's amazing and some of the best star wars stuff out there(especially the last 2-3 seasons.)

2022-03-26 05:49:05 +0000 UTCLuke was still just a farmer on Tatooine at this time, the death star in this movie was the very first Death Star, which ended up being destroyed by the Rebels in Episode IV: A New Hope. Thanks to the sacrifice of the Rebels on Scarif, and their daring success at stealing Galen Erso's engineering plans for the Death Star, the Rebellion was able to use Galen Erso's flaw in the plans, to destroy the first Death Star.

2022-02-14 18:43:16 +0000 UTCJust in case you didn't realize it yet, the storyline of Rogue One takes place after Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and sets up the plot of Episode IV: A New Hope. You seemed confused throughout the entire movie and also seemed to think that it was taking place after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
