One of James Hollands books, A Pair Of Silver Wings. Is an outstanding and accurate historical fiction about a WW2 British fighter pilot based in the Mediterranean and also how he delt with it and his family much later in his life re visiting the locations and people/friends. Its an absolutely great adventure story with a bit of romance and some tears. I've read it twice now. I get the same emotional feeling between this show and the his book.

Would have liked 10 episodes, or even 12, but still found the series very good. The production is awesome. The lighting. Stunning visuals. Great acting.
