Inspired by a trip with friends to a relatively new anime/nerd culture store that opened up around 40 minutes away from where I live. Unfortunately the store was run by these loud weeaboos who made me feel pretty uncomfortable for just existing, so I didn't spend too much time in there. But.....

On one wall... I saw Dakimakura for the first time in my life. The ones for sale were much smaller than I had imagined! Like 14 inches on the short end would be a generous estimate. And here's the best part! The artwork on them was so bad it was as if the owner had drawn them himself! And I don't mean bad quality/beginner level to be offensive but amongst the worst I saw was two left hands on one, two left feet on another!

So that's how I ended up making a poll about drawing a Dakimakura :) Challenged by my friends, I was intrigued and wanted to see if I could make one look decent and have the proper right and left hands/feet! I also had a lot of fun making the variations on this one.
