“Hey have you heard what CiCi’s been saying these days?” Randi said, taking another sip of her cranberry-and-Tito’s, as Marisela tweaked the font for the new text they were adding to the website, “It’s been kinda weird…” The three girls had just been laughing - cackling, really - about some of the silly changes they’d been making to Dr J’s portrait on the “Meet the Staff” page, sitting here relaxing on a weekend in Melissa’s office, and a moment of quiet had dropped.
“Which one’s that again?” Amelia asked, scowling at the less-than-perfect nails of her left hand, “Cynthia? The chubby one? Sits in your office?”“Yeah, but - have you seen her?” Randi answered, “She’s taller than you now, and actually starting to get kinda hot. But the way she talks about Dr. J…”
“Yeah I heard her yesterday in the breakroom,” Marisela added, “and, right…maybe we should keep an eye on her…”
“Want another one?” Randi asked her new friend, opening the cap of the second vodka bottle…

Am I missing something because if that's on purpose then someone will have to explain it to me. Not that any woman needs an explanation from some inferior "man" , mind you...but yeah...a little help?
