Wait what?!? I thought, getting the alert on my phone that the practice had been tagged on Instagram - and seeing my w…my ex-wife Sheryl sitting in what looked like one of our exam rooms, with someone who was definitely my lead medical assistant Lakshmi holding a syringe.
Sheryl?? Sheryl was in this study?!?
I had just finished another humiliating videochat with Gianna, the brash study coordinator from Evolution Pharmaceuticals, and began to storm (haha, I was like 5’2” 105 sopping wet at this point) out of my office and towards the exam wing, the new rooms we were going to be using for the study…
And… they’ve started seeing patients already, without me? It’s not one o’clock yet!
In my consternation, I started texting Sheryl:

that's ridiculous it's like vitamins and herbal extracts and...she's crazy...
