Patreon Release "Complete Collection" - U'kotoa

"Uk'otoa" is just a way for us to track our release !

Dear patrons !

Time for a new release !
First, we'd like to thank you all for your participation in the poll ! Here are the results :
๐Ÿฅ‡ Detect Magic
๐Ÿฅˆ Quarterstaff Melee Attack
๐Ÿฅ‰ Sleep
These will be our next priorities.

The August Survey is now open as well ! We will, as always, select some of the highly anticipated results to include in our next patrons-exclusive poll available in our Discord channel. If you haven't done already, you'll need to link up your Discord account in your Patreon account settings (apps tab) to have access to this channel. more info

With all the feedback we received on Discord for "Toll the Dead", we're bringing it back to the drawing board. ๐Ÿ˜…
We'll take all your suggestions into consideration and produce a cool looking animation ! Thanks again for all this feedback. It is invaluable for us to keep on track !
We really appreciate all the kind comments, compliments and encouragements you all send our way on our Discord and Patreon. It's reassuring to know we're not straying too far from your expectations ! ๐Ÿ˜

This release, we bring a fair amount of color requests including :

As promised, the Chain Lightning spell makes its entry ! One version with an anticipation for the caster and some instant ones for the leaps, plus a whole lot of impacts extracted from the spell !

And, whilst experimenting with physic simulation in Blender, we sculpted some rocks and made 32 different "Falling Rocks" trap assets (four colors, coming from the top or the side, 05x05ft and 10x05ft and 2 variations for each).

maps in the gifs provided by the wonderful, the only, "The Mad Cartographer" ! See their Patreon page for more !

See the patchnotes in the links below for all the changes coming with this release.

We've added the new assets as entries into the sequencer database and provided a couple more macros to fiddle with if you're into it ! It can be a good way to learn, especially with the Sequencer module as it makes it way easier to play around with. We'll also make a seperate Github with a beta version of the sequencer database and FXMaster integration file so that anyone can make a push request, if they so desire. Stay tuned ! ๐Ÿ““

Thank you again everyone. From the bottom of our hearts. ๐Ÿงก

How to access our JB2A content :

Same as last release

Foundry users

  1. Uninstall the free module. You don't need it anymore (note that all existing paths to tiles from the free modules will be removed in the process. You can fix the links yourself by replacing "JB2A_DnD5e" with "jb2a_patreon")
  2. Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. It contains ALL of our assets
  3. Drag and Drop the 'jb2a_patreon' folder into your modules folder
    (\Data\modules)
note : It is best practice to remove the old one if it exists already, except if you know what you're doing ๐Ÿ˜‰
  4. Launch Foundry or restart it if it's running. The 'JB2A Complete Collection' should have appeared in the list of modules in the 'Add-on Modules' tab.
  5. Activate our module from your World as you would do any other module and that's it ! Enjoy !

I think I remember someone sharing on our Discord how he did though with a similar setup and ubuntu. If you join our Discord and ping me, I'll find it for you

I'm not too sure as I'm not familiar with AWS but if you can be patient until tomorrow, our new release will have a manifest link that will solve the issue for those who are using a web-hosted service ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I started using aws, what is the best way to download itch.io files to ubuntu?

We see your point. However, we'd rather let the survey reflect what the community would like first and foremost. We want to find a healthy balance between - the highest upvoted options in the open-survey - what we think would be best. Although it can be very subjective as many members of the community are way more experienced DMs and players than we are - and what options we reserve ourselves the right to keep for later because of the challenges they present ! As we go along though, we keep making some effects seperate like the impacts and explosions that could be used as placeholders for these spells until we make an "official" version of it. Generic damage types are something we'd like to increase as well, you're right. Thanks for the suggestions, maybe it's time for a quick poll to see if the open-survey/poll system is working for everyone.

Hello Team, thanks for all of the new stuff and great survey list. One thing about "the list", I would argue that regardless of the results, it would _most_ useful to work on cantrips and basic items and basic damage types before moving up the levels. Like, you're going to keep getting a lot of votes for say, Sacred Flame, until it gets done. Like, at least if we have "Damage Type - Poison", I can substitute it for otherwise missing things.
