What's Next?
Added 2025-09-24 03:32:17 +0000 UTCSomnus is done. That's... a lot. It also doesn't mean that I'm taking a pause. My next project, Swords of the West, is a progression fantasy focusing, unsurprisingly from the title, on a guy trying to become a sword master.
This series is a bit more of a travelogue in focus- the main character has a quest but it isn't epic in stakes. The goal is more to focus on him and how he overcomes struggles and becomes stronger all while trying to find what actually motivates him.
The good news is that Book 1 of Swords of the West (Against the Storm) is already done. Starting next Tuesday (9/30/25) I will start posting 2 chapters a week from it. I'm already a chunk into book 2, and I'm hoping that everyone will enjoy the new series.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, posting consistency has gotten better. That's because my friend Ashley (everyone say hi to Ashley!) is amazing and is helping me with the sections of writing that I struggle with (posting with consistency). This should remove any of the gaps where would write a couple hundred pages and then mass post them that we saw in the past.
Anyway, regardless of everything else, thank you for taking this journey with me and I hope you enjoy the new series as much as the old.
