When I watched this episode for the first time, I also thought Soyuz was a completely new character, but as I watched your reactions, I noticed him in the background multiple times. He doesn't really stand out to the audience until after he's been introduced, which is funny when you think about how Senku and the other characters didn't really notice him, either. Poor guy. ๐คฃ
