Yeah When Future Trunks was getting ready to finally kill Fused Zamasu with a spirit bomb in his sword, Android 8 was one of the few Earthling survivors (before Infinite Zamasu wiped them all out). He wasn't in West City, he was watching the skies outside a mountain cave near Jingle Village where other refugees were hiding.
