The first Crow was an awesome movie. Unsolved Mysteries did a story on the accidental shooting of Brandon Lee. It was interesting and tragic how it happen. Look it up on Amazon Prime if you get a chance. The soundtrack was awesome. My brother and I had the cassette tape of it when it came out, lol.

2022-06-05 14:05:33 +0000 UTCI love this movie so much and it still holds up to this day! There have been rumors for years that this will get remade and it doesn't need it! I can't think of anyone that could outdue Brandon Lee, that's all who we would think of, some movie don't need to be re-made and this is one of them! There are some sequels but don't waste your time. there awful! I have always loved that his vengeance was for Shelley, he only brought himself up once and that was with Tin Tin, he didn't care what happened to him, it was all about her and rightfully so. It's so sad in the beginning with her asking for him and for him to take care of Sarah and she has no idea he's already dead, he never had the chance to defend her or himself. We didn't see much of her besides some flashbacks but she seemed like a really nice person and deserved to be avenged. I always liked too they did not hold back with him killing these guys, he didn't even blink an eye. And you just can't wait for these guys to die, they were horrible and needed to be stopped. So many quotable lines and the action is great. I love every time Eric goes a bit nutty, he's funny and is just enjoying himself with mentally torturing these guys. Brandon left us way to soon, he died before it was complete and they had to finish it with a stunt double and CGI and they did a really good job, I don't even notice it. The only scene that I notice it the most is when he appeared to Sarah, they never showed his face. It truly was tragic with what happened, to die quite similar to his father has always been a bit creepy and eerie. He really wanted to make his own mark and not depend on his dad and he succeeded with this movie! His stunt double who is Chad Stahelski would go on to directing John Wick and be a part of a lot of famous productions, like the Matrix and several others. It makes so much sense with John Wick though, there are a lot of similarities with these two movies. Both films have the protagonist out for revenge, has to do with a woman and great action, great characters and music, it's mostly dark, has villains you can't wait to die and can also be funny, it's not serious the whole time, they do make you laugh. I'm so glad you enjoyed this one!
