One way or another, Clyde knew he was always going to die in the end and he was totally at piece with that His whole mission from the start was to highlight and change the flawed justice system,Nick was never in danger and Clyde's end goal was achieved ,his entire purpose was to alter Nick's way of thinking about how he used the law,then he played all his chess pieces to remove all the obstacles, so that Nick, as a changed man was positioned and in place, to take over as the new district attorney of the state,where he then had the power of doing the right thing from there on

If they would have gotten to the man on time, he would have been alive. If he made the deal the woman would have been alive. It shows that you can make deals w child pedophile killers, work the system for yourself . Nick made me wanna take that cello and beat his head in w it. He could have saved so many lives if he took Clyde seriously. Annnd rant over lol
