2023-11-24 06:59:38 +0000 UTCYes it is now considered the best of the trilogy, however back in 1984 it was received mixed reviews at the time. Many felt it was too dark to follow it's hugely successful predecessor. It was also the movie that prompted the PG-13 rating by the MPAA.

It was so much fun growing up with this film and with Short Round, who became a kid hero to scores late of GenX kids and Xennials. This is why Temple of Doom is my favorite out of the trilogy. Oh and in case you guys did not know, Kate Capshaw who played Indie's love interest in this film has been married to Stephen Spielberg for years now, they met on the set of this film and well the rest is history. Great reaction guys! The next one is also seriously effin good.
