You guys missed the end credits.
Narnia made fantasy my favorite genre. When I was a child, I discovered the cartoon version one Saturday morning. I was mesmerized by the power of magic and make believe ever since. đ

I'm so glad you did this one. I love this movie, it's one of my favorite book adaptions. In the last 70's a animated version was made and I used to watch it all the time, I loved the story and characters. The film is actually on Youtube. And when I first saw this one I thought it was so cool to see a childhood movie come to life. But obviously this one is so much better. Narnia looks incredible, the characters are very interesting and likable, maybe not Edmund at first but he also grows to be a really good character. I actually really love his arc from being such a selfish jerk to taking accountability and literally sacrificing himself for his brother. In the animated version and this one Mr. Tumnus and Lucy were always my favorite characters, I thought they had such good chemistry in this, a really sweet friendship. Tilda Swinton was perfect as the white queen, I loved the moment right after she kills Aslan and her eyes go black. She was already evil but it felt like she cemented her evilness right there. And her wearing Aslan's mane in the battle was so disturbing to me. You couldn't have gotten a better person to voice Aslan then Liam Leeson. The effects still hold up, I love all the practical make-up but all the CGI animals still looks really good, especially Aslan. I'm sorry but he looks far better then anything in the new "live action" Lion King.
There's a few fun facts I need to mention. When Lucy first arrives in Narnia that was Georgie Henley's real reaction. Up until that moment she had never seen the Narnia set, they had actually blindfolded her and pasted down to person to person and just had her turn around. Her reaction to Mr. Tumnus was also real, she obviously had already known James McAvoy but hadn't seen him in his faun costume yet. The girl that played the older version of her was Georgie's real life sister. And poor James had to throughout the whole shoot stand and walk with his knees bent, so it would match the CGI on his legs.
Speaking of James McAvoy, it's about time a movie of his is on the channel, lol. He's a phenomenal actor, one of my favorites. He doesn't get nearly enough credit, he always delivers, even if the movie itself is not very good, he's always great and makes it a little bit better. I would love to you guys watch the X-Men prequels because he is so good in those, he was the perfect choice for young Xavier. But I would also love to see you watch some of his other work as well. Like Split, Atonement, The Last King Of Scotland, Speak No Evil, Wanted, Penelope, just the name a few. Split and Speak No Evil in particular really showcase his talent.

Yes, during World War II children in London were sent to the countryside to live with people who volunteered to take them in while the air raids were going on.

Super glad to see you guys react to this movie. Love it, and read all the books when I was a kid.
I seriously, highly recommend that you watch the first sequel, Prince Caspian. I think it's even better than this one.
Dawn Treader is pretty good as well, but definitely a bit less so than the first two.

I absolutely love this movie! I can watch over and over again without getting bored of it. I don't know if you guys missed it or not, but there is a small mid-credit scene.
