You can see in the end credits, Bo and Woody (as well as Giggles, Sheeps, Rabbit and Ducky) help toys at the fair, so they all are claimed by kids. Instead of staying in a closet, collecting dust, Woody is actually helping many many kids. Bonnie just didn't need him. And he gave his voice box to Gabby, who could go on and be there for a kid who needed her. I think it's beautiful how selfless he is.

I guess it might be because there's not much focus on original characters (even Buzz). I LOVE the concept of a ''lost toy''. And also the fact that Woody gave Gabby his voice box, giving her the chance she was looking for. As for Toy Story 5, I think it might focus on Woody and Bo helping toys at the fair. In the end credits, it shows a bit of want they are doing now, how they live their lives. Could be that.

2025-02-22 21:09:19 +0000 UTCI can understand that, but Woody was all about Andy; you can see he never truly got passed him and ever felt comfortable being someone else's toy. He served his purpose, he put every toy ahead of himself every single time; it was the first time ever he allowed himself any sense of freedom. He also struggled with the concept of no longer being the favorite, I don't know; I felt like it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be and was fine with it.

2025-02-22 21:00:39 +0000 UTCIt is a good movie but I personally feel like it throws away Woodys character because for 3 movies he's only ever been about "a toys purpose is to be there for their child" and "we've got to stick together guys because we are a family" and then in this movie he basically abandons those beliefs and his family for a Bo Peep and she shouldn't have allowed him to have to choose between his family or her, she could have gone home with Woody.
