2025-06-12 02:53:28 +0000 UTCI appreciate the synching chants at the start! This movie is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. I remember being obsessed with it when it came out. I always find it beautiful that Wall-E was on Earth long enough (700 years) that he eventually developed a sort of conscience on his own, beyond his robot nature, a distinct personality, gathered a collection of things, was fascinated by humanity's inventions. The sound effects play such a big part in this movie. So much so that there was a special behind the scenes video for the sound design on the DVD I had. It was the sound team showing which objects they used to make the sounds, it's super fun and interesting. It's somewhere on Youtube if you feel like looking it up!
