So… unexpected happenings have been going on.

My umbilical hernia had complications late Wednesday night and became extremely painful and bulging hard. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. They did an emergency surgery and ended up removing the entire piece of small intestine that had been pushed out of my muscle lining. So no more hernia for me hopefully.

That was the worst pain of my life and I was certain that I wasn’t going to survive the night. I’m very thankful to wake up with the operation a success. I’m recovering in hospital still but I should only be here until the end of the week at most. Just quietly recovering and getting lots of rest.

I just wanted to let you guys know what’s going on and not to worry. I’ll be back to my old self soon, back to how I was feeling before 2018 when the hernia first showed up. I’m very happy and thankful to be here. I wasn’t expecting this at all, so it’s been a bit of a shock - but I’m okay!
