Nya Bell Cafe - Patreon Update (April 2023)

So, this Patreon has been open now for a little over a year (Since November 2021, crazy right?!). We started off small, and... well, we got both somewhere and nowhere at the same time. With countless posts of WIP's, HD Artwork, Step-By-Step Processes, and Krita files, we have had lot's of exclusive things to look at. However, we never had much in terms of people to look at the exclusive things we offer. It's been very up and down, but no matter what it seems to lead back to the bottom. 

What could be the cause of this? Well, realistically, it's multiple causes I think. For one, it could be the following I have on Twitter, as we are only at 1.8K Followers. It's not much, and I am proud/happy that I am able to share my art with so many people, but with it's small stature and Twitter not liking the word "Patreon", it's a likely reason. I do try my hardest to get content out, and wish there were more platforms to where I could easily schedule and get content out for people to enjoy (Newgrounds does seem nice, but I wish I could have an easier time to schedule posts so that way I don't have to forget later on).

Another thing I think could be causing this is the actual rewards I offer, or how I run this Patreon. I've researched through many other Patreon accounts, both from friends and others with mass followers, and thought I knew what I could provide for others who want to support me. Most of these are pretty standard and par for the course, but there really isn't much else to provide as an artist. When I did have a few Patrons, I decided to try expanding a bit to have fun with the new year and do monthly polls, but that quickly went past in just a few small months, and now I am down to so few that it doesn't make it fun to hold these polls.

So, with these two ideas in mind, I think I will pull back a bit from posting on Patreon, at least a little bit. I want to clean up and simplify some things, work on what can work and what doesn't work. Maybe even ask my friends who have had success and see what could be improved. Not sure what will change here, but I will always continue to give my all. I hope everyone can understand, and can help cooperate with me to make the best experience possible!
