a little bit more serious topic this time.
I'm struggling with lack of feedback for quite a while now and always tried to increase engagement on all platforms by listening to the few responses I have gotten over time.
I feel like this had driven me into the wrong direction and I have decided that I will change a few things.
Even though my own artworks do mostly nothing for myself I will focus more on stuff I personally enjoy. This doesn't mean i didn't have fun creating the stuff I did before but I still feel a little disengaged on a lot of them.
Those will mostly affect themes, body proportions and post processing.
Meaning in detail
Body proportions
Bigger semi realistic body proportions. Eg big boobs and bootys. already implemented a few of them in the non commission artworks I did recently (Ashe cowgirl for example). They might be even a tiny big bigger in the future but I need to experiment with that first. I don't like hugely overdone proportions but I enjoy something in between.
But it will depend on what I think fits the character. This might change from artwork to artwork and needs a little experimenting. But also means more Overwatch Mei as well as Jill & Tifa with big boobs and booty.
I'm a bit split about changing D.Va and she might stay how she is atm.
Commissions will stay unaffected from this change and characters will have the proportions the person ordering enjoys
Themes
I'm pretty diverse on what I enjoy and there are a few things for now I wanna do more: Public / Voyeur, Threesomes / Gangbangs, Big insertions and glory hole stuff.
As well as going back and do more "pinups" again.
I'm also thinking about doing a few more Monster related things as long as they stay "Humanoid" (Stuff like, Demon, Werwolf, Minotaur, Mr. X, etc and not to extreme [not really my thing then]) but this will be highly optional atm and needs training to make it look how I want it to.
Post processing
I'm currently experimenting with getting a bit more colourful on my artworks again while keeping the light quality how it is. I liked the colors on my previous artworks but hated the lighting. This makes things a little more complicated and needs training but its to technical to go into more detail.
Due to the amount of commissions I'm getting lately my content is also driven pretty hard by them. I'm not sure about this change. I'm thankful for every buck you throw in my direction especially since this allowed a lot of 3D related purchases I did lately and the fact that I want to buy a 4090 or 4090 ti in the "near" future due to running into a lot of limitations with my 3080 lately.
I will still keep doing commissions but might pause taking on similar themed ones and do something myself to mix up content instead.
And last but not least. The release schedule.
For quite a while I tried to get 2 releases a week. This turns often out to be to much work to manage between my job, disability / health related things and private live. I still want to get at least 1 artwork out a week but everything above that will be a bonus. This also depends on how complex artworks are and how much free time I have. If I'm able you might even get more stuff than before but I only schedule for one release a week from now on.
I know that those changes will not be for everybody and might drive some of you off but like I said. There is nearly 0 feedback and this way I'm hopefully able to judge myself what needs changes and or improvement while also providing a healthier work live & smut balance.

I get you and that sounds more than reasonable to me. It's obviously healthy for artists to broaden their repertoire. And if it means you'll still be creating some content that we've familiar with, while exploring new stuff, it sounds like a nice compromise for those who might get cold feet from this announcement. None of us knows what you'll create yet, that's difficult to communicate through words alone. I hope I didn't come across as a knob with my comment. Just wanted to share my initial reaction by the news. And if you want more feedback from Patreons on your work, that's more than fair.

I want to mix it up more while focusing a little more on some topics. But yeah like I mentioned it may not be for everyone and I'm ok with that.

So it's great to hear you're trying to take better care of yourself. I'm not feeling the themes you mention though (except for the pinups, those are always great). But I'll stay a while and see how this turns out. I do love your work so I don't want to write it off without seeing some of it first. But I do get the feeling this might not be for me.
