That shit was hilarious and through the whole thing they still kept inking perfectly! 😂😂😂 That being said we learned a lot of back stuff during this ep and I was not surprised at all that Aqua gave the mangaka a ticket to the play. She needs a good swift kick in the ass about how hard Goa-san is actually working on the screen play to put her back in perspective. 🧐

2024-07-18 03:31:23 +0000 UTCThe ironic thing about this episode focusing so heavily on the flaws of a manga artist, especially rushing the story or caving into the audience demands, is that the Oshi no Ko manga has suddenly started declining pretty heavily in quality, especially in today's chapter. There was an iffy choice last chapter leading to a really really weak plot twist today. Basically, the author seems to be rushing towards the end and making some really odd decisions. Most seem to think it has to do with his other manga, Love Agency (which I thought was pretty good), getting canceled early. After two knock-out successes in Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko seeing his other project get cancelled is a bit crushing. So this episode airing today about the stress and passion that goes into manga production, right as his biggest manga starts to decline, feels oddly somber to me. I'm still a huge fan of Oshi no Ko as a whole and I'm hoping he can recover the landing, but it hurts doubly so when a series spends so much time talking about the behind-the-scenes moments and starts to demonstrate those same symptoms.
