It's sad how badly the animation of 2 and 3 were butchered and the pacing was a bit off, but this is still EASILY the best adaptation of any of Junji Itou's work so I'm happy to see it get made. I do hope this proves to people that this can work, but that it just needs a stronger production team and a more organized effort. This style of show covering Tomie would be a dream come true for me, so hopefully this does well enough to convince someone to try again.

Basically Shuichi discovered a new spiral galaxy, some things happened, a bunch of other spiral galaxies appeared, people started trying to kill each other. Oh, and they could all send out radio waves from their own head and communicate telepathically. It was very weird. I recommend just reading the thing yourself. It took me less than an hour.
