2024-10-26 21:22:48 +0000 UTCRegarding his Bankai, Ichigo got it back when he got his powers back. Then he lost it again when Big Y broke his sword while he was using Bankai. That’s why he went to see Squad 0 in the first place. To get his sword repaired. Then we found out that he had never been using a proper Zanpakuto this whole time, and he got his new swords. Those new swords should have a Shikai and a Bankai themselves that we’ve never seen before. It may be that they are constantly in a Shikai state like Ichigo’s old sword use to be in, but there should still be at least a Bankai waiting in the wings.

2024-10-26 21:13:33 +0000 UTCMy guess is that Uryu was actually giving the reason he joined big Y. We already know that Big Y could force Ichigo to kill the soul king with his spiritual energy. And Ichigo is a mutt of a person with Shinigami and Hollow parts that prevent the Quincy part from being in full control. Uryu doesn’t have that. I honestly think that he may have been forced to join Big Y because he was a pure Quincy. The guy already said that all Quincys are connected to his will. So maybe if he isn’t being physically coerced, it’s the mental side of things messing with his decisions. There’s also the fact that Big Y can seemingly kill or strip any pure Quincy of their powers with just a thought. The guys got a gun to Uryu’s head, although a bow to the head would be more fitting here.
