Yordles (his species) are technically spirits as the come from Bandle City whoch is in the Spirit Realm. They can't die normally or of old age, only if their spirit is also killed. So unless the Anomaly eviscerated his spirit as well as his body, Heimer should've ess respawned Bahamas Bandle City. If its his original timeline or not is a separate discussion lol.
