LOOOL looking back this funny now...........
- The actual story is white racists where mad at a teen girl for making an Anime character Black, they created a bunch bs justification to why it's wrong to color fan art Black.
- They saw Japanese racist attacking Black people, the white racist got hype.
- 24 hours later white racists found out the Japanese racists didn't like them either. And they started attacking each other.
The signs of ignorance were oblivious from the jump, because getting offended a anime character was color Black is insanely stupid.

@Dyastro As Black artist too, what your saying I find cringe.............
Viewing coloring something brown as they must have a "political agenda" is just as stupid as saying a black person has an Afro today is a "political agenda" It's not that deep,
Then "And as a black person.....can we please stop accepting shapes for representation?"........ beside again it's not even that deep......To be offended a character is color brown they most already be "accepting shapes for representation" for Asian and White to protect. otherwise, there no reason to give a fuck a character was color brown in the first place.....
Again, we are on the internet where the basic Idea of a meme is to pass around an morph images,............. So then I if drawn Anime character boobs out and hentai it's find......... but drawing a character Brown is offensive? Come on.

The problem with this, Those few Black people "who every" who threaten that Japanese artists do not represent all Black people. 40 million Black Americans, 1.5 billion in the world. This is the internet with everyone got an opinion. No never how much Black people they think they saw attack those artists it will never be represented of Black people. That's call Hasty generalization. If you don't know a few years back there was a uproar because a few Japanese people started attacking Black cosplay artists. The Japanese too can be racist, but most of negative stuff is ignorance of low interaction with diversity. of course, there friendly Japanese too. The few Japanese's who made negative comments likely never meet a black person in their life. So understandable why they may generalize, but westerners overtly should know better. And they are the majority who are fanning this which is cringe.
As far the images goes again this is the intenet. how would "memes" culture even work if people didn't mophify other work?......... There are litteally fan fiction, doujinshi that barrow from other work..... but color Brown fanart of an already unreastic human represation with gaint eyes and color hair is going to far hmmmmm. It's oblivious what happening.
Weird thing the whole time I thinking the popular OP is clearly hip hop. There being racist to Black people then jam out to hip hop OP. That's wild.

Momo’s friends are real ones. They are already blocking anyone trying to get with Momo. They have no problem telling everyone she has a man.

And I'll just be saying I'm doodling some sh!t. 🤣

All I can say is, that as an artist, I just don't take very kindly to people calling my blood sweat and tears as something that needs "fixing".....especially when ur fixing is just u trying to push your political agenda.
And as a black person.....can we please stop accepting shapes for representation? There ARE black anime characters, (quite alot actually) and yet all anyone cares about changing the skin color of one minority to another......
Race swaps used to be done in good faith, just like gender swaps. But now the intention is all effed....

Well my take on it is that it starts alllll the way back quite some years ago when a Japanese artist accidentally colored a Pokémon girl a shade lighter. They then got harrased, sent death threats, and doxxed. Similar events happened to other Japanese artists on Twitter too. Eventually many just left Twitter. Fast forward to now, 16 year old artist TRACES over a shot of dandadan and colors them black (some people are also saying that the artist called it "fixing" the art, or atleast many people deem it so). They were also selling the art, as if that was legal to do (its not). Apparently some Japanese artist on Twitter got mad about the double standard (I don't know anything about any possible racism or anything involving a eng va).

Regarding the controversy from Dandadan Twitter, my take on it is some misunderstanding on some harmless fanart, that random people made way too big a deal of. The English VA liked & endorsed it, then proceeded to get dragged b4 deactivating his account.
It's Chainsaw Man all over again. 😔
