Yeah the manga is already completed, it also won an award back in 2021 or 2022 1st place & frieren on 2nd (and they both get adapted by the same studio Madhouse). Author also has another manga getting an anime film next year called Hyakuemu(100M) its a sports manga about track & field, and a new shonen manga on january 2025 called DR MUSCLE BEETLE(it sounds like an action manga idk i have no info)

Cause there was a WHOLE ASS SCENE where the blonde swords man explains that that he was supposed to have a duel with a another noble and that the other guy chickened out and bought mercy to fight in the duel for him..... Actually never mind, I think I miss remembered the order of events. I remembered that convo happening before they started fighting.....soft look like it was cut to me here lmao

I believe that it mentions that we are now 10 years later after the death of the boy
